Cosmopolitan clichés

-In this city, there are people from all over the world. No body cares who you are and where you are from.

-One of the great things about this country, is that everyone is a immigrant, and everyone is an American.

-My country is beautiful! Nice people, great food and the weather is super. You ask me why am I here? You know, we don’t have democracy, our politics is messed up, it is not safe in my country.

I like people’s attitude toward national flags. I appreciate the simple logic behind it, which reminds me of Mississippi slave owners: to show your passion with something, the best way is to hang them everywhere.
